Tuesday September 10, 2024 - Early Evening Meet, Greet, Eat - at the hotel. 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm or so. Informal gathering in private meeting room to say 'Hello' and catch up with each other. A variety of tasty, hearty appetizers will be served ranging from Thai veggie rolls to empanadas, shrimp dishes, and more are in the works. Bar drinks can be brought into the meeting room from the lobby.
Wednesday September 11, 2020 - All Day Gathering at the James P Davis Reception Hall at Wyandotte County Lake. Come casual and plan to relax with fellow classmates. A hearty buffet lunch and standard drinks such as water, lemonade and ice tea will be served. Time is not yet set but will likely be around 12:30 or 1:00. Coffee, juice and light pastries are planned when the doors open at 10:30 a.m.. More information about planned activities will be shared as we come up with ideas.
Please note: The main parking lot is a distance from the lodge but vehicles may unload passengers needing easier accessibility next to an entrance with handicapped access.
if you wish to have your own beverages like soft drinks, beer, wine, etc. please note facility policy is that guests not bring glass containers on the property.
Thursday September 12, 2024 - See what's changed in Kansas City since 1964 by taking a guided tour in and around the city in a chartered executive bus {pictures below} The preliminary itinerary is listed below. Please add any suggestions for other locations to check out when you buy your tickets and we will try to accommodate as many spots to see/visit as possible. Our customized tour will be led by a professional guide who now lives in KCMO but grew up in the neighborhood near 79th & Leavenworth Road in KCK.
